When the worlds seems unreal, it can be easy to think that the safest way to cope is to just stop feeling anything. Many of us fall into apathy or we completely dissociate from the world in order to protect ourselves from the very strong emotions that can come about when we allow ourselves the freedom to feel. Let's talk about how to access our emotions, how to express them safely, and how to fight back against numbness. f
